5 women charged with affray for fighting near Paya Lebar MRT Station

Five people were charged with affray on Thursday ( 15 August ) in Singapore with arguing with one another near Paya Lebar MRT Station.

The jury heard that the affair involving the five Indonesians -&nbsp, Sriani, 46, Maesaroh, 35, Sulastri, 44, Nita Widia Rahayu, 34, and Siti Rukayah Kusni, 47- took position on the evening of May 19, a Sunday, at 15 Paya Lebar Road.

According to a policeman speech, Siti, Sulastri and Nita had a past dispute with Sriani.

Maesaroh allegedly sided with Sriani, and a fight broke out between the two parties.

The group of women are seen yelling and fighting with one another in a three-minute video tape that was posted on Instagram.

According to the command sheets, Maesaroh fought with Nita while Sriani and Sulastri engaged in physical combat.

Sulastri and Siti reportedly engaged in verbal altercation.

Around 2.55 p.m., the officers received an alert about the struggle and detained four of them that day. &nbsp,

The second, Siti, was identified and arrested about a week later.

The girls sat apart from one another in court and watched the proceedings with terrible faces as they listened.

Sriani, Sulastri, and Siti gave dates for their after this month’s pleas to criminal.

Nita and Maesaroh claimed they wanted to hire professionals but that they intended to plead guilty. On August 26, they will go back to judge for more mentions of their situations.

The penalties for affray is a prison term of up to one month, a fine of up to S$$ 5, 000, or both.
