More than 2 million ringgit of shark fins were seized at Suvarnabhumi.

In a shared operation with Chinese officials, Thailand’s Customs Department intercepted more than 400 fish tails.

According to a joint effort between the Anti-Smuggling Bureau and the General Administration of Customs ( GACC ) of China, the 402 fins were discovered among the cargo at the Suvarnabhumi airport in Samut Prakan province.  ,
Customs officials were informed that goods passing through Thailand were items that might be in violation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora ( Cites ) regulations.
Officials discovered the contraband, which was identified as coming from Trinidad and Tobago and headed for China, working with the Fisheries Department and Thai Airways International ( THAI ).  ,
The shipment, which was reportedly worth more than$ 2 million, was classified as dry fish.
The 102-kilogram drag has been seized in accordance with protected animal laws, and additional police inquiries are continuous.
