Helmet Noppharat Thara-Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park dispatched a garden patrol vessel and the Nanthicha 333 boat to liberate 28 visitors struck on the Andaman Sea near Koh Poda Nok off the beach of Krabi state on Monday.

The travellers, whose nationality was unfamiliar, returned to Phuket from Lipe in Satun state on the Siriwan Marine 5 boat, according to the regional area.

The ship’s bottom began leaking due to the impact of large waves and the captain had not steer the ship to Koh Phi Phi as waters continued to soak into the warship, the park added.
