2,607 new Covid cases, 23 more deaths

The country signed up 23 more Covid-19 fatalities and two, 607 new situations admitted to hospital during the previous twenty four hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Thursday night morning.

This compared with the 19 coronavirus-related fatalities and 2, 886 new cases accepted to hospital documented on Wednesday morning.

All the new 2, 884 cases were local cases.

On Wednesday, two, 318 Covid-19 sufferers were discharged through hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus whilst 23, 445 others were receiving therapy (up from 23, 179 on the earlier day).

Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there has been 4, 568, 461 Covid-19 cases, including 2, 345, 026 this year, with 4, 513, 943 finish recoveries to date.

The gathered death toll was at 31, 073 since the beginning of the outbreak, including 9, 375 so far this year.
