Authorities in Bang Pahan district, Thailand, detained 256 tons of electric waste for inspection because it was thought to be the source of dangerous electronic waste.

In a attack at the shop in the Moo 6 town of tambon Bang Pahan on Saturday, authorities and professional officials seized the spare along with automobile parts and contaminated oil barrels, according to Pol Maj Gen Watcharin Pusit, the commander of the Natural Resource and Environment Crime Suppression Division.

The captain claimed that the attack was the result of a 48-year-old man’s earlier arrest in Pathum Thani’s Khlong Luang district, who was only identified as Sarawut.

He was heading for Bangkok’s Bang Na city. The man claimed to have taken the spare from the Ayutthaya shop and that he had collected it.

Police were awaiting confirmation as to whether the electrical waste was in their possession.
