2,257 new Covid cases, 28 more deaths

The country registered 28 more Covid-19 fatalities and two, 257 new cases admitted to medical center during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Thursday morning.

This compared with the 25 coronavirus-related deaths and 2, 391 new cases accepted to hospital documented on Wednesday early morning.

There was 2, 256 nearby cases and one brought in case.

On Wednesday, 2, 120 Covid-19 individuals were discharged through hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus whilst 24, 191 others were receiving treatment (up from 24, 082 on the prior day).

Since the pandemic were only available in early 2020, there were 4, 553, 181 Covid-19 cases, which includes 2, 329, 746 this year, with 4, 498, 055 total recoveries to date.

The gathered death toll stood at 30, 935 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 9, 237 so far this year.
