On Wednesday ( Sep. 18 ), two Chinese tourists died after a tree fell on the car they were driving at a nearby attraction in Penang.
The two, who are both father and daughter, were only recently finished their two-day visit to the Pinang Peranakan Mansion in George Town, according to local press, at around 2.15pm.
The woman was seated in the front passenger seat, while the man was seated in the back, according to Free Malaysia Today ( FMT ). A local gentleman managed to elude the car before the trees fell.
A lady in her 30s and a gentleman in his 50s were the victims, according to Mohammad Syafiq Noor Azman, spokesman for the Penang fire and rescue office.
He added that the affair likewise caused damage to portions of the adjacent building.

The woman was seen in it taking a picture of the palace before heading to the vehicle. After that, it waited for about 40 hours before departing the parking lot as a single-lane gated vehicle entered the complex.
The Star reported that the film also revealed that the trees branches and leaves were shook frequently as a result of the incident’s strong winds.
Authorities extracted the body of the two victims in about three days.
The heavy rains and minimal place at the incident’s location made the rescue more challenging, according to Bernama, Mr. Syafiq’s statement.
On Wednesday, the governor of Penang Island City Council, Rajendran Anthony, made the announcement that 54 trees on the island were in danger of falling in extreme conditions.
The procedure is scheduled to begin the following month and should be finished by mid-October.
Since two days prior, Penang’s main minister, Chow Kon Yeow, reported on Sep 17 that the state has experienced moments of death as a result of tens of fallen branches in over 130 locations.
He had therefore urged drivers to be careful while traveling until the stormy days completely pass.
