Thailand did place two New Zealand tourists on blacklist as a result of a swift decision by the police to punish them for a surprising attack on a Thailand customers police officer.

After the court case against them is over, Phuket’s multiculturalism police chief, Deputy police captain Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, announced on Monday that Oscar Day, 38, and Hamish Day, 36, will be prohibited from both. He stated on his Instagram page that the two would not be permitted to return to Thailand.

The boys entered Thailand on March 11 and were given consent to remain there until April 9. Tourists from New Zealand may visit Thailand for 30 days without a visa.

They were charged with robbery, barrier of police on duty, real assault against a police, driving without a licence and corruption.

Oscar and Angus Time were charged with serious crimes after they attacked and injured, according to Pol Sen Sgt Maj Somsak Noo-iad of Chalong Station in the Muang neighborhood on Saturday.
