2 foreigners, 1 Thai killed as motorbikes collide in Phuket

PHUKET: Two immigrants and one Thai lady died in what appeared to be a network motorcycle motion on the holidaymaking area on Sunday.

Chalong police stop reported the incident at 2.47am after it was alerted to the incident on a path to Rawai shore.

Officers found three systems and four destroyed bikes at the scene. The dying were identified as Joseph Kristofer, 36, Magnus Stefan Anderson, 52, and Kanokkarn Taphao, 44. The ethnicity of the two immigrants was no immdediately disclosed.

One woman, identified as Pattarawarin Pholtham, 18, was severely wounded and sent to a doctor.

Officers were trying to determine the cause of the accident from CCTV footage and by questioning testimony.
