17 Indonesian tourists and a Thai tour guide were hurt on Monday when a Malay tour vehicle collided with a video truck in Songkhla’s Sadao district.
According to Pol Lt Col Thanakrit Nuanla-ong, an analyst at Sadao Police place, the vehicle was carrying 46 persons, including the visit manual and the driver.
The vehicle was traveling through the Sadao border station from Hat Yai to Malaysia at the time of the injury. The vehicle collided with a fish tractor as it approached the station after passing through the Sadao Customs Checkpoint.
The journey guide and the drivers were reportedly stranded inside the vehicle. The remaining passengers were unharmed, but the seventeen Indonesian tourists who were in the front of the vehicle also suffered injuries. The Thai tour guide suffered the most severe injuries, the authorities said.
The Indonesian bus drivers and the truck driver were being interrogated by police.  ,
