The country registered 20 more Covid-19 fatalities plus 1, 191 brand new cases admitted in order to hospitals during the previous 24 hours, the Public Wellness Ministry announced upon Friday morning.
This compared with the 19 coronavirus-related fatalities and 1, 587 new instances admitted to hospitals reported on Thurs morning.
All the 1, 191 new patients were local cases.
On Thursday, 1, 327 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals right after recovering from the coronavirus while 13, 905 others were receiving treatment (down through 14, 061 the prior day).
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there were 4, 665, 347 Covid-19 cases, which includes 2, 441, 912 this year, with 4, 618, 939 complete recoveries to date.
The gathered death toll stood at 32, 503 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 10, 805 so far this year.
