SINGAPORE: Four people have been nabbed by the Central Narcotics Bureau ( CNB) during an operation that also netted drugs with a street value of more than S$ 1 million ( US$ 730, 000 ) - , including a haul of about 11.8kg of cannabis.  ,
The bureau stated in a news release on Monday ( Jan 6 ) that the three men and one woman are all Singaporeans.  ,
Two of them- a 27-year-old gentleman and a 25-year-old guy- were arrested on Saturday evening at a carpark in the Cassia Crescent region, near the Geylang and Mountbatten communities.  ,
The 27-year-old was found to have about 1, 855g of cocaine, 1, 032g of Ice, 98g of ecstasy pills and 300 Erimin-5 devices on him.  ,
About 136g of Ice and 21g of thc was found on the 25-year-old.  ,
A subsequent search of a vehicle that the first two suspects were driving after also discovered about 11.78 kg of marijuana.
CNB officials even found and confiscated 1, 632g of cocaine, 923g of Ice, 877g of morphine, 234g of ecstasy pills and 1, 200 Erimin-5 devices.
A third suspect, even aged 25, had fled upon witnessing the imprisonment of the two men.  ,
” He was arrested following a brief pursuit”, said CNB, adding that an “offensive weapons” was seized from him and handed over to the authorities.  ,
CNB officials also raided the suspected shelter of the 27-year-old, leading to the treatment of about 73g of Ice, 21g of cocaine, 20 Erimin-5 devices and” a small amount” of ecstasy pills.
” A 25-year-old lady suspected drug offender was arrested within the product”, said the commission.  ,
According to CNB, the seized medication “potentially pull the habit of about 4, 590 substance abusers for a week.”
The arrest suspects’ medicine dealing are still being looked into.
