1,000 flats at site of former Keppel Club golf course to go on sale in October BTO exercise

National Development Minister Desmond Lee announced on Thursday ( May 15 ) that about 1, 000 Build-to-Order ( BTO ) flats at the site of the former Keppel Club golf course will go on sale in October.

According to Mr. Lee, the project will offer about 1, 000 units, including common rental apartments, two- and four-room flex apartments, and other rental apartments, according to a Facebook post.

Berlayer Creek, a place “rich with wildlife as well as historic maritime connections,” will be the site of the new flats, he added.

People can enjoy the comforts of living in the center of town and breathtaking waterfront opinions. The minister said the estate may be carefully planned in response to the region’s abundant biodiversity.

” It will have beautiful green areas and stepped building levels of between 19 and 46 metres.”

Families can anticipate a school and a park with a nature theme, according to Mr. Lee.

In order to facilitate “ecological motion” and create new habitats to recruit and protect biodiversity, the development will also incorporate innovative planted terraces and clean corridor features, as suggested by environmental group recommendations. &nbsp,

On the Keppel Club site, about 9, 000 new homes will be constructed, with about two-thirds of these being Housing and Development Board ( HDB) flats, as previously reported.

In three years, Mr. Lee announced that the site’s primary BTO job would be put up for sale.
