Minor injuries for Europeans following a driver’s loss of control on a slope
Ten Western tourists suffered minor injuries when a little tour bus carrying them to a wharf flipped on a slope in the Phunphin city of Cambodia on Saturday day.
According to Pol Capt Pariwat Phetcharat, assistant research chief at the Phunphin police place, who was called at around 6.30am, the incident occurred on the Phunphin-Muang Road in tambon Tha Lon.
The RP Transportation Co. bus overturned at the side of the street, according to police and rescue personnel. Ten international travelers were flown to Phunphin Hospital with minor injury.
Driver Chatchapong Thepsenglee reported to the police that he had taken a group of European visitors from the Surat Thani railway station on Saturday night and had taken them to the Don Sak boat pier. On arriving at the curve in the road, he said, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to reverse.
