SINGAPORE: One citizen was killed in the fire which shattered out in a Jurong East flat upon Tuesday morning (Aug 16).
The body was found in the ninth-floor device, the Singapore Municipal Defence Force (SCDF) said in a Fb post.
The SCDF was alerted to the fire at Block 236 Jurong East Street twenty one at about 2 . 50am. The fire was raging inside the device when firefighters showed up, it added.
