Zelenskyy ready to exchange North Korean soldiers for Ukrainians held in Russia

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, stated on Sunday ( 12 January ) that if Kim Jong Un’s government could arrange for his soldiers to be exchanged for Ukrainians held captive in Russia, Kyiv is prepared to hand them over to their leader.

There will undoubtedly be more, in addition to the second captured military from North Korea. It’s just a matter of moment before our soldiers are able to seize people, Zelenskyy wrote on the social media platform X.

Zelenskyy said on Saturday that Ukraine&nbsp, had captured&nbsp, two North Vietnamese soldiers in Russia’s Kursk location, the first time Ukraine has announced the record of North Korean military dead since their entry into the war last fall.

According to estimates from the West and the Ukraine, North Korean troops, or 11, 000, have been stationed in the Kursk region to help Moscow’s forces.

Russia has not yet confirmed or refuted their reputation.
