Xi Jinping says China rejects ‘economic coercion, decoupling’

BEIJING: Speaking at the opening ceremony of a community of foreign delegates to the Belt and Road conference in Beijing on Wednesday, October 18, Chinese President Xi Jinping declared that his nation had rejected” financial force” and decoupling.

” We oppose unilateral sanctions, economic coercion, decoupling, and delinking ,” Xi declared to the delegates.

He continued by saying that Beijing had not engage in” ideological conflict, political games, or bloc conflict.”

” One’s own life won’t get any better or their own advancement all faster if one views the development of people as a risk and economic interdependence as risk.”

The Belt and Road Initiative ( BRI ), according to Xi, aims to” inject new impetus into the global economy.”

The BRI seeks to improve industry, infrastructure, policy, economical, and people-to-people connectivity, he stated.

We firmly believe that things can only be accomplished and done well when there is win-win participation, he continued.

China” is willing to intensify assistance with Belt and Road partners … and work tirelessly to realize the modernization of every country in the world.”

130 nations will attend a community on the Belt and Road Initiative, Xi’s industry and network job, this week in Beijing.
