THE HAGUE: The planet Court on Friday (Jul 22) declined Myanmar’s objections to some genocide case more than its treatment of the Muslim Rohingya group, paving the way for your case to be heard in full.
Myanmar, now dominated by a military zirkel that seized strength in 2021, experienced argued that Gambia, which brought the suit, had no standing to do so at the very top UN court, officially known as the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Gambia became involved after his predecessor, Abubacarr Tambadou, a former prosecutor at the UN Rwanda tribunal, visited the refugee camp within Bangladesh and said that the stories he or she heard evoked remembrances of the genocide in Rwanda.
A representative for Myanmar declared that the state would do its “utmost” to shield the country’s “national interest” in more proceedings.
