Wa Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson, Jr. was photo Sunday in Wa, DC, in what government bodies believe may have been a good attempted robbery or even carjacking, police said.
He suffered 2 gunshot wounds in order to his lower extremities and was delivered to a local hospital, City Police Department spokesperson Dustin Sternbeck mentioned.
The Commanders verified the incident in the declaration Weekend evening.
“He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and it is currently being treated in the hospital, where Team officials are on-site with him. All of us ask that you make sure you respect Brian’s personal privacy at this time, ” the Commanders said.
The shooting happened in the 1000 block associated with H Street EINE, police said. 2 suspects fled the particular scene and officials recovered a firearm nearby, Sternbeck mentioned.
