Thailand’s baby pygmy hippo Moo Deng now has an official song released in 4 languages

Moo Deng&nbsp, – the name actually means “bouncy pork”, a type of meatballs, in Thai&nbsp, – became a worldwide phenomenon only a fortnight after she was unveiled on Twitter by the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand’s southwestern Chon Buri state.

Supporters say her name compliments her turbulent personality. Moo Deng enjoys “deng” or “bouncing,” and her ecstatic jumping has been documented in many memes on social media. Both sports clubs and organizations have used her image.

The hippopotamus, now four months old, has drawn a huge amount of tourists to the park, which is around two-hour pull away from the capital Bangkok. The park estimated it has received 3, 000 to 5, 000 visitors a day on average in the past several weeks, and it’s selling clothing, bedding and other goods based on Moo Deng.

The dwarf rhinoceros, which is threatened by hunting and habitat loss, will benefit from Zoo Director Narongwit Chodchoi’s breeding initiatives, according to Zoo director Narongwit Chodchoi. There are only 2, 000 to 3, 000 exotic varieties that are native to West Africa.

The park sits on 800 hectares of land and is home to more than 2, 000 species.

The Moo Deng song’s entire four variants are accessible on both Spotify and Apple Music’s streaming services and YouTube.
