Swiss International Air Lines made an emergency landing on Saturday in Kazakhstan after a health tragedy onboard, which caused issues after the plane landed, according to a statement from the airline.
The Boeing 777-300ER’s head vehicle got caught in the foliage and was stuck, requiring it to be towed up onto the runway, the statement said. The aircraft may be subject of an investigation and issue of damage testing.
European confirmed that the event resulted in no injuries for any of the 319 passengers.
A request for comment was not instantly responded to by Boeing outside normal business hours.
