Ricardo dos Santos, the Portuguese sprinter, had been pulled over early on Sunday morning while driving in Britain’s capital. Dos Santos experienced previously been halted and searched with the same police company together with his partner plus child in This summer 2020 .

“At about ’04. 00 hours on Sunday August fourteen, armed officers had been on a routine patrol in a marked police vehicle. They saw a car traveling eastbound… and were concerned the driver may be using a mobile phone at the steering wheel.
“The officers clearly pointed out for the car to over but it failed to do so and they called for further assistance. The driving force stopped about 5 minutes later… and the officers spoke to your pet about why they wanted to stop the vehicle.
“We have since contacted the driver via Tweets to invite him to contact us when he would like to talk about this matter additional. ”
Dos Santos on Sunday responded to the police statement with an additional tweet , stating which he only showed section of the video as “the rest will be along with my lawyer. ”
