Second Taiwanese volunteer fighter killed in Ukraine

Taiwan’s foreign ministry announced on Sunday ( Nov. 3 ) that a second Taiwanese volunteer who was fighting alongside Ukrainian soldiers was dead.

The guy was a part of Ukraine’s military army of international soldiers, the foreign ministry said in a statement, expressing apologies to his household, who did not wish him publicly identified.

The government reported the boy’s death to the government on Saturday, and the ministry’s representative in Poland verified it with the International Legion of Ukraine.

No additional details were released.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, had a direct invitation to foreigners to his nation to meet an “international legion” that would fight alongside Ukrainians and Russians at the start of the war.

Wu Chung-ta, who was identified by Chinese media, was reported to have returned to Ukraine in July after recovering from a knee injury.

Before departing for the next day, Wu claimed that his home supported his decision to fight.
