A video submitted on Twitter displays Donald holding a Bengals helmet plus swinging it prior to getting knocked towards the ground and being held back. Multiple punches appear to be thrown between both groups during the fight.
Bengals mind coach Zac Taylor said the reason the practice was known as early was because things “got just a little scuffle-y” in the last period, and both groups decided there was no requirement to run the final couple of plays.
“We got 2 really good days of work in, so was it worth getting the extra handful of plays? No, inch Taylor said.
The 31-year-old Donald, a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, is definitely unlikely to be suspended, as teams, not really the NFL, have the effect of overseeing conduct of players at exercise, including joint procedures.
“I can’t say for sure exactly what instigated this, ” Rams head coach Sean McVay said after practice. “I think, in some instances, it’s teams defending each other.
“Fortunately, our understanding is nobody got hurt, and we’ll move on from it. Not going to make a larger deal than what it is. Not going to look at directing fingers. ”
Donald was not made available to reporters right after practice. CNN offers reached out to both teams for opinion.
