In an effort to influence policy, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said on Thursday ( Jan 30 ) that he plans to meet with US President Donald Trump to discuss a number of issues, including immigration. He claimed that this would have an impact on a sizable number of Filipinos living in the country.  ,
Without specifying when that meeting had take place, Marcos said,” We will see how we can control policy in terms of immigration.”  ,

China has clearly opposed the US implementation of the weapon system for activities in the Philippines, a military alliance of Washington, and has frequently called for its removal.
