Little Leaguer Easton Oliverson is heading home to Utah to continue recovering from critical skull injury

Since his fall on Aug 15, Easton made significant strides in his recovery, including rising from a medically induced coma and eating without a feeding tube.
Easton will be moved from the facility in Danville, Pennsylvania, to Salt Lake City, the post stated.
“While this is a great step forward, it’s bitter sweet leaving behind the individuals that have put their particular heart and spirits into Easton’s recuperation. THANK YOU to every single individual at Geisinger Hospital who played a role in caring for, and saving our own boy, ” the post said.
The post also portrayed gratitude for the doctors who “saved Easton’s life. ”
“They have carried out each step in Easton’s journey from the 1st night until now with love, precision, cleverness, and care. We have, and will always have the most respect” for the physicians, it said.
The particular update noted that while Easton has made amazing steps toward recuperation, he “still has a long road in front of him. ”
It’s been fourteen days since the Little Leaguer underwent critical surgical treatment after his drop at the Little league World Series dormitories in Williamsport, Pa. On Friday, he underwent an additional surgery to put his head cap back in. After the procedure, Easton was in pain and his face was swollen, but he was able to snack on one of his favorite foods — nachos — while in recovery, the account said .
To prepare for his return to Utah, Easton has been “receiving physical therapy plus working on different skills, ” according to the Instagram account.
