Israeli strikes on Lebanon kill six fighters, one child, security sources say

A Lebanon fighter and a child were killed in a separate Jewish attack on the town of Aita, which occurred about 14 kilometers northeast of Israel, according to the security source. Mohammad Najem was the warrior who was killed in Aita, according to Hezbollah.

The Jewish military, in a statement posted online, said it had targeted Najem in Aita because he was a part of Hezbollah’s jet and missile system. It claimed that it had attacked two additional Hezbollah fighters in the west.

No injuries were reported in north Israel, despite the statement that” a number of missiles fired from Syrian territory” had crossed into the country.

The Hezbollah-backed media company reported that throughout the day, the organization had fired rockets and artillery blaze at several Israeli military installations.

More than 400 Hezbollah soldiers and more than 130 civilians have been killed since the start of the conflicts in Lebanon in October, according to a Reuters burden.
