Separately on Monday, FAS announced that FIFA had received an a&nbsp letter of intent to examine and consider simultaneously hosting future editions of the under-20 and under-17 World Cups with Indonesia starting in 2025.

The FAS stated in a speech that” this letter of intent is experimental at this time, and the pay, if any, will need to be further developed with FIFA ( and )PSSI.” It even added that, in the event of an offer, it would also be necessary to seek consensus with Singaporean authorities.

FIFA stated in a statement at the time that it had “decided to eliminate Indonesia as the number of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023” due to the current situation.

Argentina ultimately served as the host of the U-20 World Cup, with Uruguay taking home the title.

But, Indonesia did network the recently concluded U-17 World Cup, which Germany won.

The U-17 World Cup will become an quarterly competition starting in 2025, whereas the U- 20 earth cup is a biannual event.
