Indonesia group denies Gaza hospital used by Hamas network

JAKARTA: On Monday( Nov.6 ), the manager of the Indonesia hospital in Gaza denied a claim made by the Israeli military that the facility had been used by Hamas to launch an attack.

The remarks were made in response to accusations made by the Israeli military that Hamas conceals its underground functions by using hospitals, including the main hospital in Gaza, al-Shifa, the Qatari-funded Sheikh Hamhad Hospital, and a doctor constructed by Indonesian groups.

According to the requirements of the Gazans, we built this doctor, according to Sarbini Abdul Murad, president of MER-C, a nonprofit organization that runs the doctor in Indonesia.

He stated at a press conference in Jakarta, the Indian capital, that Israel’s allegation is necessary before they can harm the hospital in Gaza.

Rocket launchers could be seen across the street from the Indian hospital, according to a satellite image released by Israel’s military interpreter on Sunday.

According to another MER-C official, the hospital’s fuel tank and electricity generators are kept in individual adjacent buildings for safety reasons, and there is no tunnel beneath it.

The largest Muslim-majority nation in the world, Indonesia, has called for an immediate peace and has sent support to Gaza.

Since Hamas launched a cross-border assault on Oct. 7, killing 1, 400 individuals and seizing more than 240 victims, health authorities in Gaza under his control claim that over 9, 770 Palestinians have died in the conflict.
