India visa processor withdraws notice on service suspension for Canadians

NEW DELHI: Shortly after announcing the suspension of services for Canadians on its website, & nbsp, India’s official visa processor in Canada, withdrew the notice on Thursday( Sep 21 ).

According to BLS International, the Indian Mission’s see caused the immigration services to be suspended earlier.

BLS International posted on its website,” Essential notice from Indian Mission: Due to functional causes, with effect from Sep 21, 2023, Indian card providers have been suspended until further see.”

Immediately after the announcement was made public on Indian press, the company removed it.

An established at BLS, which has its headquarters in New Delhi, stated that they did not want to be quoted and forwarded AFP to American authorities. The foreign government of India made no immediate reply.

A political dispute between India and Canada has been sparked by Ottawa’s claim that New Delhi was responsible for the murder of a Sikh separatist close to Vancouver.

India warned its members on Wednesday not to travel to certain regions of Canada.

India’s foreign ministry stated on Wednesday that it was concerned for the safety of its citizens in Canada due to” politically condoned hate crimes and criminal violence ,” without specifically mentioning the dispute.

According to a government statement,” threats have specifically targeted American diplomats and segments of the Indian community who oppose the anti-India agenda.”

American citizens are thus advised to stay away from areas and probable Canadian locations where such incidents have occurred.
