IMF and World Bank leaders pledge at UN climate summit to work with Donald Trump

Trump, who shuns globalism, has promised huge tax increases on Chinese products and other goods as part of his” America First” plan.

The traditional Republican” Project 2025″ mission, from which Trump has distanced himself, calls for U. S. departure from the IMF and World Bank to pursue only diplomatic creation and financial support in line with U. S. interests.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of UAE clean energy party Masdar, said the United States remained a key sector, despite changes in political leadership, and the company may remain expanding its footprint it.

” A lot of red state in the US… build a lot of renewables. They are very supportive of energy, so we do n’t really see any impact, honestly”, he said, referring to Republican-controlled states.
