Former Zilingo CEO files criminal complaint against co-founder, ex-COO

The Times of India reported on Wednesday ( Apr 24 ) that Ms. Ankiti Bose, the co-founder and former CEO of Zilingo, has lodged criminal charges against two of her former coworkers.

Ms Bose pressed charges of&nbsp, cheating, harassment, crime and abuse against her brother founder- leader Dhruv Kapoor and the company’s past chief operating officer Aadi Vaidya, according to the newspaper.

In a six- site problem reviewed by the Times of India, Ms Bose alleged that Mr Kapoor and Mr Vaidya had misled her and the Singapore- based company’s traders while attempting to gain financial&nbsp, benefits.

She also alleges that they” coerced her into giving up her shares and enterprise under fake pretenses” according to the article.

This took area between April 2020 and 2022, Ms Bose said in her problem.

In April 2022, Ms Bose&nbsp, was &nbsp, suspended as the agency’s CEO&nbsp, following an investigation into the begin- up’s records after complaints about admitted financial irregularities were raised. She was fired a fortnight after.

According to the Times of India, Mr. Vaidya “engaged in wrongdoing in his position as COO by erroneously attributing loss-making deals to me and extending commerce credit to various events in my name.”

She continued,” He therefore used those talks to harm me by erroneously implicating me to investors, despite the fact that he had already conducted all of my previous company’s operational dealings,”

” I have been threatened, deceived, and had problems attributed to me in purchase for Vaidya to extort my stocks, which are worth several lakhs,” I claim.

The name” rupees” shows a value of 10 million in India, with 10 million pounds being the equivalent of about US$ 120, 000.

Mr Kapoor and Mr Vaidya even exhibited” crafty and dark” behaviour by concealing organization- related details, Ms Bose&nbsp, claimed, adding that this made it difficult for her to&nbsp, make informed decisions.

The pair&nbsp, also “intentionally&nbsp, did not attend meetings” with financial adviser&nbsp, Kroll, which had been hired to conduct a forensic audit to investigate the complaints made against the company.

According to Ms. Bose, their absence “further complicated matters for me and slowed down the other team members.”
