JERUSALEM:  , US President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff is meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Wednesday, ( Jan 29 ) his office said in a statement, amid the Gaza ceasefire and a regional diplomatic push.  ,
Trump has claimed he wants to use the ceasefire, which he said he wants to use to bolster a wider geographical agreement that would include Saudi Arabia and Israel formalizing diplomatic relations, to include Witkoff visiting Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Israeli government declined to provide any information about Witkoff’s visit to Gaza, which included an examination of the Netzarim hall, which thousands of displaced Palestinians crossed over as they returned to their properties in the northwestern region of the state.
ISRAEL BEGAN PULLING OUT OF NETZARIM Passageway
