South Korea’s Son Jun-ho denies Chinese accusations of football match-fixing

After roughly 10 months of confinement in China, the midfielder was released and returned home in March. He has since lost his place in the South Korean national team.

Brother claimed that as a state of his discharge, he had agreed not to discuss his experiences while he was imprisoned but that he had chosen to speak out because he was shocked to be a part of China’s bans.

He was never mistreated during confinement, Son added, but described the circumstances in which he was held as severe.

Father’s comments were not quickly available for comment from the Chinese Football Association. The unusual and public safety ministers, as well as the General Administration of Sport of China, did not respond to requests for comment right away.

In addition to being ex-Chinese nationals, Jin Jingdao, Guo Tianyu, and Gu Chao were all given life sentences, according to results released on Tuesday by the public safety government and the General Administration of Sport of China.

Brother, who was playing for the Chinese Super League team Shandong Taishan FC when he was detained in China next May, was allegedly suspected of accepting money. His foreign ministry said he was doing so when he was detained there last May.

Boy, who has since signed for North Korean part Suwon FC, stated that he wanted to continue his career.
