Gymnast Yulo strikes gold for Philippines at Paris Olympics

For the first time in the country’s history, Carlos Yulo won the men’s floor gymnastics competition at the Olympics in Paris on Saturday ( Aug 3 ) for only the second time.

The 24-year-old broke down in tears after matching the progress of weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, who won silver at the COVID-19-delayed 2020 Tokyo Games.

The two-time earth champion properly executed his regular, ending with a sure-footed landing to report 15.000 items.
