Aerosmith retires from touring, citing permanent damage to Steven Tyler’s voice last year

Tyler’s soaring singers have powered Aerosmith’s large library of visits since its creation in 1970, including Dream On, Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion. When Tyler was hurt, they were about to begin a 40-date goodnight trip.

” We’ve always wanted to blow your head when performing. As you know, Steven’s speech is an equipment like no other”, the group said in Friday’s statement to supporters.

The group stated,” It has been the honor of our lives that you have heard our song.” You have made us a part of the music of your lives by playing in every club, on every large tour, and occasionally in the most grand and private settings.

Aerosmith is a four-time Grammy winner and a Rock &amp, Roll Hall of Fame inductee. In addition to Tyler, its people are Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer.
