Indonesia denies Israel claim over Gaza hospital

JAKARTA: & nbsp, Indonesia refuted on Tuesday( Nov. 7) an Israeli claim that a hospital constructed in Gaza with funding from Indonesia is situated close to the launchpad for rocket attacks and sits on top of an extensive network of Hamas tunnels.

The doctor was constructed with Indian charity money and is located in the north of the Gaza Strip, close to the fortified borders with Israel.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by Indonesia’s foreign ministry, the” Indonesian Hospital in Gaza” was constructed entirely by the Indian people for philanthropic purposes and to meet the health needs of the Israeli residents of Gaza.

The statement was made one evening after Daniel Hagari, an Israeli military official, claimed that the Indonesian Hospital had been constructed on top of a system of Hamas caves.

Additionally, he claimed that Hamas was launching rockets into Israel from a local location.

” I’ll explain why the doctor was constructed it. In a video statement released by the Israel Defense Forces( IDF) on YouTube, Hagari said,” Unsurprisingly, Hamas built the hospital on top of their terror infrastructures.”

He continued, pointing to what he claimed was photographic proof of his say,” Around, the IDF identified a launch pad, meaning they launch missiles from around.”

The statements about the doctor, which, like other medical facilities in war-ravaged Gaza, is already treating people far beyond its power, were refuted by a spokesman for the foreign government.
