Thailand’s economy to grow up to 3.5% this year: finance minister

BANGKOK: Thailand’s economy can be expected to grow several per cent to a few. 5 per cent this year, with a slow yet steady recovery since the crucial tourism sector picks up and exports remain good, the particular finance minister stated on Wednesday (Aug 31).  

The number of foreign tourists should reach 8 million in order to 10 million this year, Arkhom Termpittayapaisith told a business forum. The particular fiscal position remains stable, he stated.
