
Vietnam and Russia have come to a deal to quickly communicate and sign agreements to build nuclear power plants in Vietnam, the two nations said in a joint statement on Sunday ( May 11 ).
After Taiwanese president To Lam traveled to Moscow, they stated in a statement that” the development of the crops with sophisticated technology will completely adhere to nuclear and radiation safety requirements and for the benefit of socio-economic creation.”
In an effort to increase its electricity generation capacity in order to support its rapidly expanding business, the Southeast Asian nation has resumed its plans to build nuclear power plants that were abandoned almost ten years ago.
The state has recently stated that it anticipates the first nuclear power plants to be operational between 2030 and 2035 with a combined power of up to 6.4GW.
