Narumon Pinyosinwat, minister of agriculture and partnerships, announced on Tuesday that the agricultural property used in Saraburi illegally for the operation of the Phu Nub Dao Farm would be taken from the land.
A search has also been launched to find out who was a part of the plot’s use. One of the individuals in question is thought to be near to a prominent legislator.
The chancellor questioned how, despite having been confiscated, the land was eventually obtained by the hotel operator. The person who sold the land to the beach was not a farmer without a land, which meant they were not able to purchase the storyline in the first place.
Authorities were investigating the hotel’s operations on Tuesday. Investigators discovered suspicious activities connected to the property order, which was made in a woman allegedly having ties to a well-known politician and cost at least 10 million baht overall.
Phu Nub Dao Farm had been shut down for a while, according to Ms Narumon, but it eventually reopened.
According to the minister, the ministry’s fact-finding panel was looking into whether any ministry officials had a role in assisting the resort in the unlawful acquisition and occupation of the land even though it had already been seized by the Agricultural Land Reform Office ( Alro ).
The minister stated that the property will be returned along with other plots that were illegally seized and used in an effort to support the Alro’s goal of giving the land to impoverished farmers who lack the land to farm on.
The minister claimed that all she knew about this aspect of the case was what was already in the news, and that the resort’s admitted connection to the person under suspicion identified by her first name preliminary” Ch” was that.
She claimed that she had no further information about the inspection besides who had unlawfully occupied the area.
For the first time since the controversy broke, Palang Pracharath Party ( PPRP ) leader Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon, who was widely speculated to be the politician in question, answered a Government House reporter’s call on Tuesday.
When asked about the speculation that one of his female near partners may be linked to the hotel’s activity, Gen Prawit said:” No, everything. I have done little wrong”.
The former deputy prime minister sounded puzzled by the idea when asked if he was thinking about issuing a public explanation to discredit the rumor and keep him from the disagreement.
Then, after the visit, Gen. Prawit hung up the phone and failed to return a follow-up message.
