Veeam Software announced that it has appointed Rick Jackson (pic) as Chief Marketing and advertising Officer (CMO).
In the statement, the back-up, recovery and information management solutions vendor said Jackson is an experienced marketing leader who most recently kept chief marketing roles at Qlik, Rackspace and VMware.
He can lead Veeam’s global marketing organisation since it continues to drive brand preference and continuing growth as the primary market leader of recent data protection options spanning cloud, digital, physical, hybrid, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Kubernetes environments, it additional.
According to Veeam, Jackson has been at the forefront of technology all through his career.
He joins Veeam after eight years on Qlik, where he brought the global marketing firm and was part of the leadership team that will transformed Qlik directly into an end-to-end information and analytics software-as-a-service (SaaS) company.
