Full Moon Party and Songkran make Island crowded.

Two European visitors who lost their way while on a hike have been saved from a forest on Koh Phangan.
Maria Abaca and Linda Raterro were found healthy and undamaged on Friday evening in the Koh Phangan city of Surat Thani, according to Inspector Vinij Boonchit of the Tourist Police, who released a statement on Saturday.
After the Italian Embassy in Bangkok received a notification that two lost citizens were hiding in the woodland, police, city officials, park guards, and liberate volunteers set about the research.
The visitors were able to take their location to the rescue team, according to Pol Lt Col Vinij. The group arrived at them, but it took around three hours because of the heavy rain, which had a negative impact on the research efforts.

Full Moon Party and Songkran
Due to the start of the renowned regular Full Moon Party on Rin beach and the start of Songkran ceremonies, Koh Phangan may be crowded once more on Saturday.
According to Seatran Ferry Co.’s general manager, Benjawan Tanpaiboon, ferries to Koh Samui and near Koh Phangan leave every hours, with more vessels on standby to transport passengers from a dock in the Don Sak area to the two island destinations.
Because the Full Moon Party coincides with the Songkran event and there are more guests than usual, she said, adding that this has led to a higher number of visitors.
According to assistant provincial government Nanthawat Charoenwan, the island would receive at least 50 million baht from the long break and the shore party.
