In Bangkok and Prachuap Khiri Khan, three additional suspects — two men and one woman — have each been detained separately on suspicion of selling bullets to a 14-year-old boy who earlier this week engaged in shooting rampage inside the Siam Paragon shopping center.

On Saturday, one of the suspects was detained at a residence on Phetkasem Soi 94 in the Bang Khae city by Pol Lt Gen Thiti Saengsawang, director for the Metropolitan Police Bureau, and an investigator staff from Yan Nawa.

The suspect, Phassornkorn” Nikki” Thianthanwit, 27, was wanted on a subpoena issued by the Bangkok South Criminal Court on Friday for participating in the illegal sales of weapons.

Authorities seized 2, 765 rounds of various types of bullets, three mobile phones, empty packages, and packing supplies in addition to two firearms— a Glock automatic pistol and a Smith & amp, Wesson revolver.

On Saturday, officials detained Phassornkorn” Nikki” Thianthanwit at his Bangkok home and displayed confiscated goods, including weapons and ammunition.

Wutthiphong Phetmanee and Suthida Paenghom, the various two defendants, were detained in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s Bang Saphan Noi neighborhood.

At Bang Saphan Noi place, Ms. Suthida turned herself in to police while Mr. Wutthiphong was detained behind a home. Both were sought after on permits that the Bangkok South Criminal Court had issued.

Three people were detained on Thursday for reportedly selling ammunition and firearms to the younger store gunman in Yala and Bangkok, respectively.

At a residence in the southwestern border state of Yala, Suwananhong Phramkhanajarn, 45, and his 22-year-old son Akkharawit Jaithong were detained. In Bangkok, 31-year-old Piyabut Pianpithak was detained.

Bail disputed

The three were detained for an additional 12 times by the Bangkok South Criminal Court on Saturday, but bond was denied because the offenses carried a severe punishment. The group, according to the police, are a flight threat.

According to the law, a suspect may be held for seven 12-day periods, or 84 days in total, before authorities are required to fully file charges against them or free them.

Mr. Suwananhong and his brother were subject to arrest warrants for selling firearms and ammunition without authorization and illegally possessing weapons. 209 shells of empty gun munitions, 33 metal components, two lender passbooks, nine magazines, and other items were taken from his home.
