Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may soon be connected to an individual’s Grab for Family accounts to ensure safe travel on rides.
Teens who use the feature may be subject to additional health precautions, such as PIN identification.
Teenagers will need to obtain a PIN code from the pilot before using a private-hire vehicle to access their own application. Only the PIN matches when the walk begins.
According to Get in a news release released on Tuesday, this prevents teens from entering the wrong vehicle with the wrong motorist. These teenagers will prioritize top-rated owners as well.
When traveling with teenagers, Grab’s” Audio Protect” element, which records audio during the ride for security purposes, will also be activated.
Generative AI will soon be added to this capability to “detect in real-time if there is anything harmful happening in the car, so we can act right away.”
According to the site of Grab, the current Grab for Family account is only applicable to Singapore Grab customers and only allows family members to add if they are 18 or older.  ,
In addition to different features, it allows customers to text the vehicle in a three-way talk and lets customers know where their loved ones, such as elderly parents, are when they have boarded a private-hire car.  ,
Our systems will identify and indicate unusual exercise on a trip, such as a deviation, unforeseen stop, or premature termination, the company continued.
Starting in May, the addition of teenagers and the promotion of Grab for Family may be implemented in various nations.  ,
