Najib's daughter says former PM diagnosed with multiple new stomach ulcers

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s daughter Nooryana Najwa says that doctors found multiple new ulcers in the stomach after a scope on Saturday (Sept 10).

Within an Instagram post Mon (Sept 12), the lady said that the former excellent minister had been admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for a medical procedure involving the scope on Sunday.

She stated the doctor found multiple new ulcers in the stomach during the procedure.

“During the particular scope, the physicians at HKL furthermore did a biopsy which led to several bleeding and the ulcer had to be clipped to prevent the bleeding.

“Daddy requested just for observation at HKL but was denied, your doctor discharged him and today Daddy attended court.

“The doctors also changed his medication from the usual that he had been consuming for years and sent him back to Kajang, ” she had written in her blog post.

This morning, Nooryana said a test showed that Najib’s blood pressure was dangerously high, which could have been caused by the change in the medication.

“This led to the mouthpiece public prosecutor telling the judge today that Daddy’s wellness is not in good condition and he will need to be sent to the hospital.

“On humanitarian grounds, us pleads with the jail authority, the hospital and the government to do the right thing and allow for dad to receive proper medical care and observation, inch she said.

Earlier, Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah agreed to adjourn the former premier’s 1MDB trial with 12. 30pm today to allow Najib to find medical attention after Older Deputy Public Prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram introduced the matter to the court’s attention.

“The accused’s medicine pertaining to blood pressure has changed.

“It had an adverse effect on him great condition is quite bad, ” Sri Ram memory said.

Najib was present throughout the proceedings here upon Monday.

The particular prosecutor said that Najib, however , was prepared to go through the proceedings until 12. 30pm.

“By 2pm, they have to see a doctor, ” Sri Ram had told the court.
