Japan to loosen travel restrictions imposed during COVID-19 pandemic

NEW YORK: Japan’s strict boundary restrictions will be loosened next month, the prime minister announced on Thursday night (Sep 22), permitting tourists to effortlessly enter for the first time because the start of the pandemic.

In an information conference at the foot of Central Recreation area in New York, Excellent Minister Fumio Kishida said independent tourists would again end up being welcomed as of Oct 11, not just these traveling with sanctioned groups.

The cap on the number of tourists will also be raised, as will brand new visa requirements that were imposed in response to the particular pandemic.

Kishida was speaking at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. In other remarks, he called for reform of the EL Security Council and dismissed any scepticism about Japan’s improved military spending, saying it remained the “peace-loving nation”.
