Digital Penang, Microsoft to empower startups, SMEs

In a statement, the tech large said the cooperation is in line with Penang’s Digital Alteration Masterplan to develop a digitally engaged society.

To back up the state of Penang’s goal of conditioning the local startup ecosystem, Digital Penang will leverage the Ms for Startups Founders Hub, it stated.

The particular firm added this collaboration is also in tandem with its current initiative with Holder Fund to provide online companies and digital natives in Malaysia having a global platform to scale their innovations with the integration of the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub inside the MYStartup platform.

Additionally , Digital Penang and Microsoft will also explore collaborative opportunities to deliver electronic skilling initiatives to SMEs in the condition through the Microsoft Understand platform.  

This includes giving globally recognised qualifications that affirm these SME owners’ electronic competencies, Microsoft said.

To help drive more women involvement in technology, Microsof company said it will also extend support to female developers through the Program code; Without Barriers effort.

“Opportunities are plentiful for startups, SMEs, and market disruptors in this digital period and we are glad to extend the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub platform to startups and electronic natives in Penang, ” he stated.

Raman said this will supply them with access to upskilling possibilities and mentorship, individualized technical guidance, along with Microsoft’s technologies plus tools.
