Southeast Asian nations are urging the US to talk with them about trade tariffs and won’t impose retaliatory measures, according to regional bloc ASEAN’s economic ministers on Thursday ( Apr 10 ). &nbsp,

Six of nine Southeast Asian nations targeted by the US leadership were slapped with little bigger-than-expected tariffs of between 32 % and 49 % before a 90-day delay was announced by US President Donald Trump regarding the implementation of US taxes. &nbsp,

Comparatively, India had a 27 % and Japan had a 24 %, respectively, ratio.
