CNA asked SPF about the airport and the departure area, but SPF did not respond.

The Airport Police Division detained the person. He will be charged with fraud in courtroom on Thursday. If found guilty, he could receive either a good or three years in prison.

He did spend up to ten years in prison and pay a fine if found guilty of cheating.

The authorities stated that there was no compassion for robbery on board aircraft.

The airport police division’s commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC ), M Malathi, said:” It was fortunate that the passenger had enabled notifications on her banking app, allowing her to quickly report the unauthorised transactions on her debit card.
