A pickup truck struck and finally dragged his system for about 10 kilometers along the road, killing an 84-year-old man.
Eventually, the pilot admitted to hitting the man in panic and refusing to stop.  ,
The accident took place in the Photharam region at around 6am on Sunday in the tambon Chet Samian. Bunchu Aramkong, the old survivor, was given the name.
His 36-year-old daughter, Arporn Muangchim, said he generally went outside in the early dawn to sweep the floor in front of the property, and may cross the road to rid of the rubbish.
On Sunday night, she heard the sound of a car and someone being hit. When she ran outside to see what had happened, she only saw a delivery vanish and one of her father’s shoes on the side of the road.
After the delivery, she and another family yelled at the driver to stop the vehicle, but he didn’t. About 10 miles from their house, they , found Bunchu’s system on the road, she said. He was dragged along the path by the car and suffered severe injuries to his head and body.
Police used surveillance cameras to locate the pick, which showed his system being dragged underneath the frightened vehicle with one arm protruding out of the area. In tambon Tha Chumpon, they discovered the pickup parked in front of a church.  ,
The vehicle, Paeng Somjai, 61, admitted he had hit the old man and finally tried to escape. He said he had panicked, authorities said.
He was accused of foolish travelling that resulted in fatalities and hit-and-runs.  ,  ,
